Niger Delta politicians failed us - Asari Dokubo Read

Alhaji Asari Dokubo who is a former Niger Delta militant leader has blamed people from the region who held top political positions for the problems the people are facing. During an interview session on a television programme on Television Continental (TVC), Dokubo said the Niger Delta region had all it takes to make the people wealthy but lamented that the people from the region who had the power failed in their responsibility.
The former militant accused former minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, ex-finance minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and former minister of petroleum, Diezani Maduekwe of enriching other persons from other regions and making them billionaires while people from Niger Delta remained impoverished.
